Professional Disclosure and Statement of Understanding

Dr. Beth Haggett has a Ph.D. in Mind-Body Medicine: Health Systems from Saybrook University, a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work (MSW), from Walla Walla University, and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, from Washington State University.  She is a Licensed Clinical Social worker in the state of Utah (LCSW). She is a Master Personal & Executive Coach (MPEC) and has The National Board Certification for Health & Wellness Coaches (NBHWC). She is also ACC Certified through ICF (International Coach Federation).

Dr. Beth utilizes a Mind-Body-Spirit approach to transformation which may include tools from Hypnosis, Guided Imagery, and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), among other modalities that work with the body’s physical energies to facilitate desired changes in emotions thought and behavior. Her emphasis is always on the strengths that you have and your ability to find and create solutions.  She has worked with Leaders and Coaches across the globe for over two decades and her Coach Development Curriculum is considered Best Practices in the Customer Support Industry. Although she is a licensed therapist (LCSW), her retreats and coaching are grounded in the belief that you are whole, complete, and resourceful, are the expert in your life, and have the ability within you to create change. She does not provide therapy. If you are seeing a therapist or if therapy seems a better fit for you it is recommended that you continue to see or seek out a therapist.

There is a safe container created to support you in feeling whatever feelings come up as we move through different exercises and learn new ways of practicing and tuning in to what we know. The orientation of this work is aligned with an Integrative Wellness Coaching paradigm which sees people as “whole, resourceful, and complete.” Feelings are welcome, and the focus is tuning in and also moving forward. While there may be things from the past that influence our present, the focus of this work is on the present and how we are showing up now. I have confidence that together we can create a wonderful space to be our most authentic selves, to learn and grow in new ways that will contribute to overall well-being.
